Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women at Al-Qadisiyah University, faculty members from the College of Education for Women at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in a workshop and discussion panel at the University of Hillah. The workshop was titled “The First Educational Workshop on Programmatic dependence for Physical Education and Sports Science in Iraq.” The event was attended by deans and heads of departments from the colleges of Physical Education and Sports Science in Iraq, as well as the ministerial team tasked with forming the Recognition Council for the Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Science. The workshop addressed several topics including:

🔹 How was the Recognition Council for Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences formed?
🔹 What international standards did the Council rely on to formulate Iraqi standards, the most prominent of which was its dependence on American standards?
🔹 A detailed explanation of each of the six programmatic recognition standards.
🔹 An explanation of how to provide marks for indicators and standards.
🔹 A statement of how transfer from national to international programmatic recognition.
🔹 How to prepare an action plan to accomplish programmatic recognition.

The workshop included a number of lectures and interactive sessions that discussed the means for applying programming standards in curricula and academic recognition mechanisms, as well as the exchange of experiences among participants to accomplish the desired goals of enhancing university education in Iraq.
